Top 5 rom-coms to watch this summer. Most of these movies are on Netflix for all to enjoy and have fun.
Starting off we have “The Notebook” , a very well known movie based on a guy and a girl who fall in love, they have a very rocky relationship but make it work because they love each other. Yet they cant be together because of her family, he leaves and for a whole year wrote her letters. Till one day she saw he built the house they once talked about.
Second we have “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” a story on a teen girl who loved many people and has written letters to them that have now been released years later, she gets into contact with all her past “lovers”. She ends up in a fake relationship with her ex-best friend ex-boyfriend but has caught feelings. This movie also has two other movies continuing her teen love life, which are equally just as good.
Next we have “10 Things I Hate About You” , a movie based on a teen girl who doesn’t believe in love and is known as a weirdo at school, while her sister is popular. The only problem is that she can’t date if her sister isn’t, a young man comes up with a plan. A fake relationship with her but she falls in love, she later finds out about their plans and feels betrayed.
Taking fourth place is “50 First Dates”, this movie is about a guy who doesn’t want to fall in love but one day after his boat breaks stumbles into a diner. He finds a beautiful girl and catches feelings fast, something he hasn’t felt before. Although he finds out something shocking, she has memory loss and is reliving the same day everyday, since then he tries everything to make her fall in love with him all over again.
Lastly we have “The Hating Game”, a movie based on two coworkers who can’t stand each other, but have to work together. Yet slowly and surely they start to realize they like each other after a moment in an elevator. She later realizes he never hated her but loved her from the very start.
All these movies are great watches you can add to your summer bucket list to enjoy a good laugh, shock, excitement, and love. There are many other very well known and amazing rom-com movies that also catch your eye, these just give you a different feeling of love.
