2.Adolescence
Adolescence is a British psychological crime drama that premiered on Netflix on March 13, 2025. Across four episodes, the story follows “A 13-year-old accused of the murder of a classmate” which leads “his family, therapist and the detective in charge”asking about “what really happened.” This series follows the key themes of toxic masculinity, social media’s powerful impact, radicalization of youth and the responsibilities of both family and society. 3. Hacks
Hacks is a dark comedy series with 4 seasons which “Explores a dark mentorship that forms between Deborah Vance, a legendary Las Vegas comedian, and an entitled, outcast 25-year-old.” Their collaboration begins as a professional arrangement, but eventually develops into a complex, contentious relationship that dives into the themes of Generational conflict, Artistic integrity, and the challenges of embarking in the entertainment industry. 4. Dexter: Resurrection
Dexter: Resurrection is a crime drama mystery series that follows the story of Dexter Morgan. Weeks after being shot in the chest by his own son, “Dexter Morgan awakens from a coma”, where he sets out for New York City, determined to find Harrison and make things right. “But when Miami Metro’s Angel Batista arrives with questions, Dexter realizes that his past is catching up to him.” This series introduces a ton of new characters including Leon Prater, a wealthy philanthropist containing a fascination for serial killers, and Charly, his assistant. Altogether, this series, containing 10 episodes, is rated 9.2 stars, is TV-MA and contains Michael C. Hall, Uma Thurman, and Jack Alcott.
5. The Pitt
The Pitt is a critically acclaimed medical drama series. The Pitt follows “The daily lives of healthcare professionals in a Pittsburgh hospital as they juggle personal crises, workplace politics, and the emotional toll of treating critically ill patients, revealing the resilience required in their noble calling.” This series is not only appraised for how good it is, but for its authentic depiction of healthcare challenges, including staff shortages and the effects of Covid-19.
