Fast food, everyone loves it like who doesn’t. But what are fast food restaurants really up to? Yes it’s convenient when you’re in a rush or not in the mood for homemade meals, sometimes they are also affordable like McDonald’s and Wendy’s and most of the fast food population. But the poor nutritional value that fast food has to offer does not sit right with me. The advantages that fast food has on people can cause obesity, digestive issues and more. The meals that fast food has to offer natural nutrients. Plus it can lead to overeating because portion sizes and addicting flavors. I did some research on Google and due to their heavy use of meat. People have caused a lot of health problems.
One of the main benefits of fast food is that , people can grab a meal in just a few minutes without having to cook at home. It also costs less than eating at a regular restaurant, which makes it affordable for people on a budget. On top of that fast food chains are everywhere , so it’s never hard to find something to eat when you’re in a rush. Another thing about fast food is that they give a lot of options yes restaurants provide meals but they are starting to become stingy with the food and adding more salads and lightweight food , yes it is good for your health but some people prefer more sloppy juicy burgers and others .
Even though it has some benefits most fast food has a lot of salt and sugar which leads to diabetes. the food doesn’t often have vitamins that our body needs. As my mom always says ” you don’t need fast food it’s not healthy” I used to not believe her at the time but now overall I see the impact that fast food has to offer and it needs to be stopped. The packaging like plastic cups and wrappers causes waste and pollution towards animals.
People don’t understand how eating fast food harms the animals more than humans, based on the “Wikipedia” animals mistake litter as food and sometimes get stuck or die from eating it. Raising money for these restaurants causes more rivers and forests to get cut down for farming and destroying natural habits.
