As Halloween and Homecoming approach, so does spirit week at North Canyon. Spirit Week will be on October 28 through November 1. You may be asking yourself what are the themes for spirit week?
Spirit Week Themes:
Monday 10/28 – Pajama Day!
Tuesday 10/29 – Twins Day
Wednesday 10/30- Spell On You! (dress as your type)
Thursday 10/31 – Thriller Thursday (Costume contest)
Friday 11/1- Day of the Dead
Saturday 11/2- El Baile De Los Muertos (Homecoming!)
On the first day of spirit week (which is Monday) it will be pajama day, so make sure to wear your favorite pajamas and bring your favorite or cutest stuffed animal to school. On Tuesday it will be Twins Day so make sure to get a friend (or friends) to match outfits with. The third day of spirit week (Wednesday) will be “dress as your type”. Thursday, which is Halloween, there will be a costume contest going on during FLEX (make sure to bring $1 for the entry fee). On Friday, which is not only Homecoming eve but also the Day of the Dead, you will have to wear your homecoming shirt or you can black and neon out. And finally Saturday(El Baile de Los Muertos), which means Homecoming! And a good day to have fun with your friends. Make sure to participate in Spirit Week and show some school spirit for North Canyon!
