When scrolling through TikTok, , you could see many types of videos! There are relatable videos, comedy videos, horror videos, etc. There’s just a lot of types of videos you can scroll past, and it’s never ending!! No matter what you see, though, there’s a comment section filled with a bunch of stuff being said by others.
Usually, there’s more comments under a post than likes, which often is the case because people always have something to say. Though, the comments usually depend on who the person is and what the content of the video is about. Under relatable posts, people often share their experiences and share their own opinions!
Recently, with the whole TikTok Ban, people have been making fun of the way that the government has been trying so hard to get rid of the app, even though the people have found a new app to go on. The new app they decided to go to is owned by a Chinese company and is named Xiaohongshu. In English, it translates to little red book, so people started calling it Rednote.

Rednote has been around for more than a decade. It is full of Chinese people who have been on the app for so long and because of the people moving to Rednote, the Chinese people on the app have all been welcoming! Even the CEO of the app made a video welcoming the “TikTok refugees!” The term comes from all the Chinese people greeting the Americans into the app.
