Code Vein Two
Code Vein Two is a direct sequel to Souls-like Code Vein (2019). This variant promises faster, more action oriented RPG gameplay, deeper lore and a continuation of the series’ dark, anime inspired aesthetic. Unveiled during Summer Game Fest 2025, Code Vein Two is set for release in “2026 on Playstation Five, Xbox Series X/S and PC.”
Nioh Three
Nioh Three is set to expand the franchise with “open exploration, dual combat styles”, and an intense combat against supernatural enemies. This game is set in Japan’s Sengoku period and specifically focuses on the rise of a new Shogun and the events leading up to it. During a Sony Play event in June 2025, they revealed that this game is “set to release early 2026 for Playstation Five and PC”.
Fable
Fable is developed by Playground Games with support from Eidos-MontrĂ©al and Third Kind Games. Fable is an action RPG game, set in the world of Albion. Fable, is built on the ForzaTech engine and aims to reboot the series with modern visuals and mechanics. Initially set out for 2025, Fable was delayed until sometime in 2026 in order to ensure better quality, this being a “whole six years after its initial announcement in 2020.”
Resident Evil Requiem
Resident Evil Requiem is the ninth mainline installment in the survival horror franchise. Requiem centers on FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft as she investigates many deaths in a Post-Raccoon City setting. This game allows players to switch freely among both first and third person perspectives. Requiem was designed using Capcom’s RE Engine and will feature ray-traced lighting – offering illumination, shadows, and ambient occlusion in order to deliver atmospheric and immersive horror. Revealed at Summer Game Fest 2025, “Requiem is scheduled to drop on February 27, 2026, featuring a new protagonist.”
GTA Six
GTA VI is the world’s first AAAAA game – signaling unprecedented budgets, scope, ambition, and potential influence on the gaming industry’s evolution. The game is set in a fictional state of Leonida, a modern day take on Florida, with Vice city as its centerpiece. This game is rockstars biggest and most immersive world created to date. GTA Six introduces a dual-protagonist system featuring both Lucia Caminos (The first female playable lead in GTA) and Jason Duval (her male counterpart). Originally announced in December 2023, this highly anticipated game is set to release “on PlayStation Five and XBox X/S on May 26, 2026 after being delayed earlier this year.”
