The countdown is officially on for one of the most anticipated nights of the school year. As the semester winds down, North Canyon High School is gearing up for Prom 2026, and the excitement is brewing up. To help everyone prepare, we asked Stugo members to get a scoop on what to expect, how to secure your spot, and why this event is something you absolutely don’t want to miss.
Mark your calendars for Friday, April 24th, 2026. While the date is confirmed the school is keeping the official location and theme secret for a little longer. These major details are set to be revealed during the Senior Picnic on March 13th during 4th and 5th period. For those trying to plan their outfits early, the main colors for the evening are both red and gold.
The night itself promises to be a high-energy celebration. Students can look forward to a photo booth to capture memories with friends, along with music and snacks provided for all juniors and seniors. Attendees should expect a night to remember; full of fun and exciting memories that will last a lifetime. It is designed to be a milestone event where the stress of school fades away in favor of a great atmosphere.

While the presale window has officially passed, the current tickets are $6o for singles and $100 for couples, though they will be available for $80 at the door. If you are planning to bring a guest from a different school, remember that you must visit Student Services to pick up a permission form. If you run into any trouble with the guest process. Mr. Hines is the go-to person for help.
For many, especially the senior class, Prom represents the final major dance of their high school career. Individuals believe that it is a vital experience for every student to take part in. “Seniors should definitely participate in this event because it’s their last dance of the year,” one member explained. Another stated, “Just think of it like this: in a few years we won’t remember every homework assignment but we will remember prom as a memorable night.”
The school is also making sure that every student has the opportunity to attend regardless of their budget. North Canyon is currently holding donations for ballroom attire, and these items are available for free to any student who needs clothes for the dance. With the attire taken care of and the date set, all that’s left is to wait for the big reveal on March 13th and get ready for a night of celebration.
