A lot has changed a lot from 2016 to 2026. the way people talk , dress, learn and uses tech very differently now. In 2016 it felt more offline no such thing as chatgpt or AI just us and our brains but in 2026 everything feels so online and almost everything is connected to the internet. But in 2016 how people treat each other topics where mostly about black lives matter and white lives matter but why not all lives ?.

Now in 2026 these conversations are a lot louder and harder to ignore. In 2016 movements like “Black Lives Matter” were starting to get attention but many people did not really take them seriously. I remember some people avoided talking about race because it felt uncomfortable. In 2026 race is talked about more in schools, online and the news mostly because of ICE. People are speaking up more about fairness, equal treatment and everyone thinks its normal to just call out unfair situations instead of straying quiet.

Another big change is how people talk about cultures online. In 2016 , jokes and comments about race were more accepted, even when they used to be hurtful. Now people are more careful with their words and understand why people should be disrespected. Different cultures were more active outside people used to spend time with their neighbors , family and mostly cookouts. most of these things brought people together not just physically but mentally to. Black culture , white culture and others mixed face to face and people learned from each other by being around one another.

While now a lot of cultures lives online yes social media can connect you with people fast but being outside helped make it feel more real and helped us grow together. Now looking back at 2016 the culture has kinda changed in the past everyone was more together and today culture is more online while it can be texting, comments.
