October 28 2025, students received an email from PVSchools informing them that there would be a new app that North Canyon, along with a few other schools, would be using. This new app is called student square. Now when I first read that I had one question. What the hay is student square?!
Student square is an app that was made by its parent company parent square. Student square is an app that focuses on connecting students with their schools and teachers. You can communicate with teachers, coaches, and other staff. You can also see what staff post about events or announcements and updates about certain things. This app is available on the web or on both IOS and Android.
Student square will start being used by the school on November 1st. On that date students will be able to start receiving messages or updates from their teachers or campus staff. This app will help keep the school connected like never before! On the 29th of October, students will receive an email of how to get an account activated on student square. All you have to do in that email is follow the directions and it will be easy to get your account set up.
