Everyone knows North Canyon is home of the rattlers. But if the mascot is snakes why is there roaches everywhere? At first you used to only see then every one in a while , maybe in a corner or near the trash but now it feels like they’re trying to come to class with u. Students see them running under desks even hanging out near the water fountains.
” I was just trying to drink my water,” said freshman Nouvella Bitsui, “Then I saw this huge brown bug run right past my foot. I wasn’t even thirsty after that.” So why are these bugs making themselves at home, is it because of the Arizona heat. the roaches want to come inside where its cool, just like we do but it’s also because of all the crumbs.
When people leave half eaten chips on the floor it’s basically like a free buffet for them. Nobody wants a school where you should have to worry about roaches crawling around and in your backpack . We need the school to do more than just spray whenever we on breaks . We also need students to stop leaving trash around so bugs don’t have anything to eat. Until things get better you might want double check you stuff before you leave a classroom lets hope North Canyon roaches find somewhere else to go.
