Our last year, only left with memories about the last time we were all together. Friends and family being there for us through our final days as high school students. 

In high school it was nothing like the movies we have seen on tv. There were no people dancing, singing, none of that silly nonsense existed. Senior year was different, it had a different feeling in the air, we all were excited to finally start our last year of high school. In a way senior year was like that movie High School Musical with our little kid backpacks, painted jeans, cute crowns, and how we walked through the hallways. Underclassmen knew who was a senior and who wasn’t because it was the vibe that was passed around on the first day of school. Our senior class is fun. We go out and do cool things. We hang out with people we just met this year because we know that what happens next is unknown. We won’t be at school anymore so who cares. One senior stated “No one will remember, so go out and live life.” That’s exactly what the class of 2026 did and what we got to continue to do.

Even though it’s all coming to an end there’s still time to make those memories, have fun, and live life. In front of us there’s a long path ahead and all we have to do is move forward.
