The Rattler Regiment performed their show at the State Championships this past weekend. During the Semi-Finals, the top eight bands in the division were selected to compete at Glendale Community College. Making finals meant that our band got to perform for an extra week. Our group was one of four bands that competed in two circuits. This means they competed against forty-two bands in total! The Rattler Regiment was extremely grateful to have this opportunity.

Although they were faced with a sudden change and uncertainty coming into this season, the Rattlers have had a wonderful and successful year. Their show Imagine was performed seven times over eight weeks. After rehearsing for Sixteen weeks the Rattler Regiment received a score of Excellent at ABODA State. At the last rehearsal, the Rattler Regiment had their run without seniors as well as a run of only seniors! With a new Director comes new traditions, this year the Ratter Regiment did a final march, marching across the field as each grade left leaving just the seniors to march together one final time. Continuing old and embracing new traditions, the Rattlers had a great senior night and last rehearsal.
“After spending so much time making sure I was looking at it I enjoyed getting to finally see the field from the press box” – Senior

The closing of this season was bittersweet, with fifteen Rattlers graduating and leaving the program. We wish every one of them a great rest of their senior year and the best in their future endeavors.
