Walking through the high school doors for the first time must feel nerve wracking. For the class of 2029, the transition from middle school to high school is a reality check. Carrying  around a heavy backpack , the  confusing where your classes are and making new friends.

The best part of the ¨high school experience is finding the right crowd for you.  Ab said, ¨No because I stayed with my friends from middle school and didn’t have the find any new friends¨ Making new friends with someone is hard because you’re in a new environment and it’s scary. For me personally I joined sports, making friends was fun because we all had one thing in common, which was us playing the same sport and finding love for it. Many people say high school was scary at first but they got used to it overtime because they say high school is just like middle school but bigger. Saniya Hayes said, ¨High school was scary at first, but then it started to grow on me and it was easy to make friends.¨
