The mannequin challenge was very popular and everybody was doing it. For example, many schools,stadiums, and any other popular places. You had to stand still and act like you are doing something and in the background you can hear Black Beatles.

Snapchat Filters

Snapchat was also very popular in 2016 with its fun filters to use. Most likely when you swipe through snapchat you would see someone or their friends be posing for the camera with a cute dog face. Most used filters were the dog one, flower crown, and the butterflies.

Water Bottle Flipping 

Water bottle flipping is when you flip the bottle until it lands and it was very popular. Most people who posted their take on the trend would go viral. People still do it for fun now, so really it has not left and it’s also very enjoying thing to do when you are bored.

Hoverboards

Hoverboards are electronic devices that you stand on and can go places on. Sometimes people would post failures of them or another person on one and falling off. Hoverboards are still here and haven’t left yet, but also they are expensive.

Dabbing

Dabbing is a form of celebration and just to do for fun. Dabbing was seen in videos, fortnite, and other popular social media platforms. Many people loved this era and which was used for carrying yourself like fashion, confidence, and your vibe.
