The North Canyon Women’s Soccer team led by their coach Mr. O’Shea. Tryouts began early December of 2025, many girls were there hoping to make the team and play for the rattlers in the winter.
The team started off with everyone making either the Varsity or junior Varsity team, 60 girls and two coaches. The season was rough for the rattlers, but every game they put their heart into the game. Though the rattlers did not have a win they did have a very good game and tied with Alhambra one to one. Players in this program made friendships like no other, this season they made a TEAM. What they were able to accomplish in such a short time with each other is amazing. They molded a bond that can’t be broken, everyone on the field or bench would lift each one up by saying, “you got this”, “don’t sweat it next play”, “shoot it, shoot it”, and “keep going”. They lifted one another up and supported each other when it was challenging. Even though winning was not accomplished they have something that they will remember and means a lot more than a season record.
The Rattlers will have an amazing season in years to come, the bonds they have built early on will only help them more on the field. Along with their coaches’ help next season is going to be wonderful for the rattlers.
