For the 2025-2026 school year the last theater show performed the past Friday and Monday was called Bad Auditions By Bad Actors. Its features a casting director trying to find the main character in a community theater filled with crazy tropes. It takes place in Hoxie’s one and on

ly Red Barn Theater and they are finding actors for the 7th edition of Romeo and Juliet. As time goes on, the show seems to not feel so “actor-proof” as it originally seemed.

North Canyon High School’s theater teacher, Mrs. Nelson, in regards to the show states, “It was a wonderful success and my family loved how it turned out. I got plenty of compliments on the show and it was a wonderful way to end off the school year’s wonderful program.”

Zelda Norris is a freshman, who plays one of the main characters, had this to say about the upcoming show, “I love how the show turned out and the audience absolutely loved it. I love participating in my passion for theater with all the friends I’ve made in this class throughout the school year.”

The show was fun for the whole family and community. It was located in the black box within the performing arts building. Admission was free Theater on May 9th and 11th at -pm.
